Language for holidays
19/01/2007 by stefi.
Hello,
Have you already planned and booked your summer holidays abroad? If so, why don’t you start learning a few tips about the language of the country you are visiting?
I would like to hear from you about this. I started learning French when I went to Switzerland on holiday. I learnt a lot by going into the shops and talking to shop assistants. Asking them “how do you say”? As you are in the shops to buy, assistants are kind and available to help, they want to sell! I used to write down the word as it was pronounced, in a small notebook, and then check the spelling on the dictionary once back in the hotel.
A very short effort can give great results!
I look forward to hearing your experience.
