European Day of Languages - Competition for young language learners!

To celebrate the European Day of Languages, the 26th September 2007, Williams Language Solutions has posted an event on the Council of Europe website http://www.ecml.at/edl/default.asp

The Competition, which is open to individuals, classes or schools, is intitled “You met an alien in Italy…can you describe it?”

Imagine you are in Italy and you meet an alien in the street….You report the incident to the police, and they ask you to draw a picture of the alien and write a short description of the monster in Italian.
You must draw a picture of the monster and write a description of the alien in Italian. Your message must contain at least three phrases in the language.

Entries can come from individuals, classes or from a whole school and must reach Williams Language Solutions Ltd by Monday 8th October 2007. The winners will be notified by the end of October and receive a price The winning picture will be published in our Newsletter. The decision of the judges is final.

Entries should state the name, address and telephone number of the school, the principal, and language teacher/s and the classes involved.
