North-East meets South-West

Strengthening European business communications
and
Reducing carbon footprint

Newcastle-based translations company announces alliance with Exeter-based virtual PA company. Clients can use either company’s services to strengthen business communications skills and expand more rapidly into different European markets. Carbon footprint is reduced by using the nearest company.

Williams Language Solutions Ltd provides translations, language training and international communications modules from the North East of England. Virtual OMS provides virtual office assistance and Dutch, English and German language skills, from the South-West.

Stefania De Angelis Williams, director of Williams Language Solutions, explains: “By working together, we meet the requirements of our clients in the North when they need services in the South and vice versa. We can deliver translation requirements in more languages and together speed up the challenge of European communications”. “Our businesses complement each other on several areas and directions”, adds Lea Wray of Virtual-OMS. “I am a great believer in collaboration, and I can see a great potential for clients and for the environment in working with Stefania and her team”.

“Business Etiquette is part of the language marketing strategy offered to our clients, together with translation of press releases, company documents, products catalogues and website localisation”, continues Stefania, “and it is also one of the main services offered by Virtual-OMS. Our joint aim is to reduce carbon footprint and we can achieve this thanks to our separate presence in the North-East and in the South-West.”

The alliance is also liaising with an interpreting service in Hungary. “Many executives feel the need to travel with an interpreter to overcome language barriers”, says Stefania. “Forming a larger strategic alliance with a language service at the place of destination will cut costs for the clients and we guarantee the same quality service they will have directly from us in the UK”.
